TrackSlayer is a musical tool that gives users the ability to isolate individual instrumental or vocal tracks so users can then play or sing along, isolate that elusive bass, drum or vocal part, or just have fun jamming with the virtual band.
The brainchild of award-winning composer and admitted Beatle “geek”, Larry Hochman, best known for his work in television, film and on Broadway (Book Of Mormon, Pippin, & Big Fish), TrackSlayer.com’s mixing console was developed as the result of his desire to hear the individual tracks of original Beatles’ recordings, which do not exist, as the originals were recorded in either mono or stereo.
Undaunted, Larry set out to re-record 24 of the Beatles greatest hits in multi-track format, and gathered a group of highly-talented musicians, all dedicated Beatles enthusiasts, for a series of studio recording sessions in New York that pay homage to the legendary band with incredible attention to musical detail and nuance.
TrackSlayer.com’s BETA test includes this catalog of carefully re-created Beatles songs, playable through its online mixing console, with no software installation required.
